This picture is illustrating the different states of Australia. As you can see, they are separated into states much like they are in the United States. There are six states: Western Australia, Northern Territory, Queensland, New South Wales, and South Australia. This pictures teaches that Australia is broken up into different section, just like every country is broken up. This relates to the other pictures because it lets people see the country that they will be learning about. It is a basic picture of the topic of this blog, Australia.
